Stratovique Partners

Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want every engagement to be entered into with a clear understanding of how fees, cancellations, and refunds work. Because our services are advisory and built on professional time and expertise rather than physical goods, this policy explains what can be cancelled, what is refundable, and how to make a request — in plain terms.

01 Overview

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to the business strategy and operational consulting services provided by Stratovique Partners (“we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Golden, Colorado. It describes how engagements may be cancelled, the circumstances in which fees may or may not be refunded, and the process for requesting a refund. This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and with the specific proposal or statement of work for your engagement, which may contain additional or more specific terms.

02 Nature of advisory engagements

Our work consists of analysis, recommendations, planning support, reporting, and coordination advisory. The value we deliver is largely in the professional time, preparation, and expertise dedicated to your engagement. Unlike a tangible product, advisory work cannot be returned once performed. For this reason, refunds are generally tied to work not yet performed rather than to dissatisfaction with conclusions, recommendations, or outcomes, which depend on many factors beyond our control.

03 Engagement types and billing

Engagements may be structured in several ways, including: a fixed fee for a defined engagement or review; a fee per report or per reporting cycle; or a recurring monthly advisory fee. The applicable structure, amount, and billing schedule are set out in your proposal or statement of work. Indicative starting prices shown on our website are estimates for typical engagements and are not binding quotations.

Fixed-fee engagements are billed as agreed, often with an initial payment to commence work. Per-cycle and monthly arrangements are billed in advance of, or at the start of, each period unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for the fees corresponding to work performed and to the committed period of any recurring arrangement, subject to the cancellation terms below.

04 Deposits and scheduling

We may require a deposit or initial payment to reserve capacity and begin work. A deposit confirms your engagement and allows us to allocate the time and resources needed. Unless your proposal states otherwise, a deposit is applied toward the total fee and becomes non-refundable once we have begun substantive work that the deposit was intended to cover, to the extent of that work.

05 Cancellation by you

You may cancel an engagement by providing written notice to us. For fixed-fee engagements, you remain responsible for fees corresponding to work performed and reasonable, non-cancellable commitments made up to the effective date of cancellation; any prepaid amount exceeding that is eligible for refund as described below. For recurring monthly arrangements, you may cancel with the notice period stated in your proposal — or, where none is stated, with reasonable written notice — and you remain responsible for the then-current period. We will confirm the effective date of cancellation in writing.

06 Rescheduling sessions and meetings

Where an engagement includes scheduled sessions or meetings, we ask that you give us reasonable advance notice if you need to reschedule, so that the time can be reallocated. We will always try to accommodate reasonable rescheduling requests. Repeated late cancellations or missed sessions without notice may be treated as time delivered, since the capacity reserved for you could not be used elsewhere.

07 Refund eligibility

Refundable. Prepaid amounts that correspond to work not yet performed, and to the unused portion of a cancelled period after accounting for the notice terms above, are generally eligible for refund. Not refundable. Fees for work already performed, deliverables already provided, time already reserved that could not be reallocated, and non-cancellable third-party costs incurred on your behalf are not refundable. Dissatisfaction with a recommendation, conclusion, or business outcome is not, by itself, a basis for a refund, as outcomes depend on factors outside our control.

If you believe our work fell materially short of what was agreed, please raise it with us promptly. We will review the matter in good faith and, where appropriate, work with you on a reasonable resolution, which may include revisiting deliverables or adjusting fees for the affected portion.

08 How to request a refund

To request a refund, please contact us in writing using the details at the end of this policy. Include your name, the engagement or invoice reference, the date of payment, and a brief explanation of your request. Providing complete information helps us review your request quickly and fairly. We may ask follow-up questions to confirm the details before reaching a decision.

09 Processing and method

Once a refund is approved, we will process it within a reasonable period, typically using the original method of payment where practical. The time for the refunded amount to appear in your account depends on your payment provider and is outside our control. We will confirm in writing when an approved refund has been issued.

10 Late or missed payment

If an undisputed invoice is not paid by its due date, we may suspend work and withhold deliverables until payment is brought current, after giving you notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter. Suspension for non-payment does not relieve you of fees already due. Persistent non-payment may result in termination of the engagement in accordance with our Terms of Service.

11 Changes to scope

If you ask us to expand or change the scope of an engagement, we will discuss and confirm the revised scope, timeline, and any additional fees before proceeding. A change in scope does not by itself entitle either party to a refund of fees already earned for completed work. Reductions in scope are handled on a fair, work-performed basis.

12 Disputes

We prefer to resolve any concern about fees or refunds directly and in good faith. If you have a dispute, please contact us first so we can try to reach a fair resolution. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally is governed by the dispute-resolution and governing-law provisions of our Terms of Service.

13 Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and changes take effect when posted on this page. The policy in effect at the time your engagement begins will generally govern that engagement, except where a later change is required by law.
